دن چھپا اور غم کے سائے ڈھلے
آرزو کے نئے چراغ جلے
ہم بدلتے ہیں رخ ہواؤں کا
آئے دنیا ہمارے ساتھ چلے
لب پہ ہچکی بھی ہے تبسم بھی
جانے ہم کس سے مل رہے ہیں گلے
دل کے ان حوصلوں کا حال نہ پوچھ
جو ترے دامن کرم میں پلے
کون یاد آ گیا اذاں کے وقت
بجھتا جاتا ہے دل چراغ جلے
مصلحت سرنگوں خرد خاموش
عشق کے آگے کس کی دال گلے
